ML 23839 Annual Report for Mount Porter

Abstract

ML 23839 covers Mount Porter gold deposit. Prior to the grant of the ML it was worked under ERL 116 up to 2003 by Pine Creek Goldfields and Homestake Gold. Since 2003, it has been held by Arafura Resources and since grant of the ML in February 2005, activities have been limited to investigations to support lodgement of a PER, which was advertised for public comment in December 2006. Late in 2006, Arafura attempted a small RC drilling campaign which was abandoned due to bad ground conditions after only 4 of the 11 holes were completed. No data has been supplied to date.
