Annual report Emerald Hill MCN 1366 and 1369 for the years 1998 to 2007

Abstract

MCNs 1366 and 1369 have been held by Corporate Developments since 1995. The titles are part of a tin field of open cut mines and alluvial working, mostly active between 1908 and 1913. About 43t of alluvial tin concentrate was extracted over a six year period. A mine was reopened in the mid 1970s and a large quantity of tin was produced. A previous drilling intercept of 3m at 3.2% Sn from 130 feet is quoted. Current exploration is for tin and rare earth elements. Recent assays of kaolinised vein material from Emerald Hill are included in the report.
