Annual report EL 24804 Ngalia Regional Project period ending 15 April 2009

Abstract

Exploration undertaken in the 2008-2009 period included: Regional and reconnaissance mapping and prospecting; Interpretation of 2007 airborne geophysical survey including radiometrics, magnetics and topography; and continuing compilation of historical data and conversion of this data to digital format. Proposed drill testing of the radiometric anomalies has been delayed by extensive exclusion zones defined by the aboriginal heritage surveys. The proposed program has been affected by this survey with a number of targets in the sensitive areas. Review of the proposed drilling and further negotiation with the traditional owners is ongoing. Deferral of reduction for the 2008-9 year was granted by the Department in April 2009.
