Abstract: On 26th March 2015, EL 30465 was granted to MMG Exploration Pty Ltd. EL 30465 lies within the McArthur region of the Northern Territory. The tenement is situated within the highly prospective Batten Fault Zone of the McArthur Basin. The primary exploration target for MMG is lead-zinc deposits in carbonates of the McArthur Group however MMG also recognises the potential of the Tawallah Group as a prospective host. EL 30465 is mapped as sediments from the Tawallah Group with some cover. Given the Tawallah Group has conventionally been of little interest to explorers there has been limited work conducted on the tenement. There has been no reported drilling, rock chip sampling or soil sampling. In 1972, eight stream samples were taken by Kibuka Mines Pty Ltd. In 2015, MMG conducted desktop studies to review the potential of the Tawallah Group as a prospective host for lead-zinc deposits. A stream sediment sampling programme and ground traverses were planned for 2016 but ultimately abandoned. No field work was carried out in the exploration licence in the two years the licence was held. The licence has been relinquished.
