| Abstract: | These leases were owned by Central Pacific NL and are located in the Jinka plains, about 340 km northeast of Alice Springs. Mapping and drilling was mainly carried out during the period 1970-1973. Since then, leases have been retained, pending the development of a suitable marketing opportunity. Central Pacific NL was placed under receivership on 3 December 2003. Queensland Energy Resources acquired the assets of Central Pacific NL including the Jinka tenements. Both the resource and its potential development will continue to be kept under review. |
