Title: | Preliminary shale core porosity data |
Report id: | CSR0373 |
Year: | 2015 |
Author: | Spinks, S |
Corporate Author: | CSIRO Armour Energy Weatherford Laboratories |
Drillhole/Well Name: | 14MCDDH002 |
Abstract: | Core porosity measurements were done by Weatherford, using their Shale Rock Properties (SRP) methodology. Shale rock properties (SRP) analysis determines fundamental core data sets for reservoir characterisation. SRP is crushed analysis that yields porosity, permeability, saturation, bulk, and grain density data. As the core was not suitably preserved during and after drilling, the pore saturation and permeability results should be considered unreliable. |
