dc.description.abstractOrganic petrological analyses have been used to evaluate petroleum source potential of a suite of rocks from CKAD001 and Huc 1 both drilled in the Georgina Basin, NT. A total of 7 core samples of the Arthur Creek Formation, ranging in depth from between ~240 m (Huc 1) and ~541 m (CKAD001) were analysed. In addition, SEM imaging was carried out on two samples from CKAD001 and mineral contents were determined by XRD for two samples from each of the wells CKAD001 and Huc 1.en_US
