The 1960 Andado Ground Gravity Survey was carried out by Geosurveys of Australia Ltd within OP45. The object of the survey was to continue an oil exploration programme in the area by acquiring gravity data, which would reveal the trends of the buried structures and their extension into the desert, prior to conducting a seismic survey. The survey was able to establish 336 gravity stations with a total distance covered of 540.7km.en_US
The lack of geological and density data precludes any unique interpretation of the gravity results at Andado. Further work is therefore recommended.en_US
