Follow up rock chip sampling at Gidyea and south of Canteen Creek took place during September of 2013. 40 samples were taken, 19 south of Canteen Creek and 21 at and around the Gidyea Prospect. The primary aim was to follow up anomalous stream sediment results from the Canteen Creek area and to extent sampling of the Gidyea Prospect - defining the gabbro and granite units, with focus upon the Th values and to further explore the base metal potential previously seen. Results confirm the high Th values within the granitic unit, this is backed up by high counts (400-600cps) detected in the field using the super spec RS 125. It also shows that the mapping of the Gidyea Gabbro, in previous and current work, extends too far to the west, especially in the northern areas. This is likely due to the weathered outcrop of both granite and gabbro units look similar. In August 2014, an airborne survey covering the entire tenement of EL 27821 was completed by Thomson Aviation, and qualified magnetic and radiometric survey data was delivered to AMR for further geophysical interpretation.en_US
