Abstract: | This report records the exploration work completed on EL 10324 during its first year of tenure, from the 25th June 2004 to 24th June 2005. Targets are shallow haematite-ironstone related gold deposits. EL 10324 is ranked as a moderate-priority exploration area, given its proximity directly along strike from the Lone Star and Mulga prospects, the presence significant structures such as the Mary Lane and Quartz Hill faults and its proximity to the Billy Boy prospect. Only desktop studies were undertaken in year one. Work proposed for year two will include geophysical modelling of the subtle east west magnetic ridge which run parallel with the Mary Lane and Quartz Hill faults and an assesement to determine if geochemical surveys could be effectively undertaken. |
