Abstract: This report summarises work carried out by Teck Cominco/BHP Billiton JV. Work included sampling and ground magnetic surveys. Sampling at Strangways Range and The Gardens returned some elevated values of Zn but no anomalous Cu. Sampling at Johnnies Reward exhibits strong anomalism in the vicinity of the known mineralisation and gossan and highlights a trend extending approximately 700 m north to the Johnnies Reward North anomaly. However the sampling has failed to delineate any significant anomalism on the traverses north and south of the prospect. At Gum Tree some elevated values of Cu, Zn and Pb were returned with the best results being 1.14 % Cu, 1440 ppm Zn and 286 ppm Pb. One sample returned 2.242 ppm of Au, but additional gold analyses failed to outlined any systematic anomalism. The results from the Johnnies Reward failed to provide any encouragement away from the known mineralisation. In conclusion no further work is planned by the TeckCominco/ BHP Billiton on the tenements.
