Title: EL 9645 Pale Moon Final report 23 October 1996 to 22 October 2002
Title Holder / Company: Giants Reef Exploration
Report id: CR2002-0337
Tenure: EL9645
Year: 2002
Abstract: Work during the six year tenure consisted of reconnaissance , gridding, rock chip sampling, geological mapping, soil geochemistry analysis, ground magnetics and gravity surveys, open hole percussion drilling, reverse circulation percussion drilling, diamond drilling, geophysical modelling, database validation and target generation. Four significant exploration targets were identified early in EL 9645 and explored during the six years of tenure. Drilling at Callisto revealed gold mineralisation that is considered to be worthwhile drill target. Drilling at Europa established a zone of talc-chlorite alteration and weak mineralisation existed along an east west trend. The southern hole showed a significant gold intersection in ironstone which warrants further drilling. The drilling at Ganymede produced significant gold and copper intersections which require further drilling. The majority of the licence is covered by Mineral Lease 22284 application area and this report remains closed file.
