Abstract

Work was focused on phosphorate outcrops at Arruwurra in the southwest of the tenement area. Ten orientation soil samples were collected and analysed. Three rock chip samples from the Arruwurra area returned >30% P205 with <5% Al203 + Fe203. These results were considered as a significant indicator of the potential for high-grade phosphorite in the Arruwurra area. A review of the resource estimate for the Wonarah Phosphate Deposit was carried out and an inferred resource of 72 Mt @ 23% P205 has been defined for the same area as that reported previously.
