The Ammaroo Phosphate Project is located 240 km southeast of Tennant Creek. The project area contains the billion tonne Ammaroo Phosphate Deposit, which is currently Australia?s largest undeveloped JORC phosphate resource, the satellite Ammaroo South resource, the Rockhole Prospect and significant greenfields potential in the east. An updated Ammaroo Phosphate Project prefeasibility has been announced and higher tenure applied for. EL 25185 contains the Ammaroo South JORC resource and considerable exploration potential. 23 blocks are being voluntarily relinquished from the periphery of the EL because they have been deemed least prospective for phosphate. Two drill holes fall within the relinquished area. ARAC0037 was an aircore hole drilled by Aragon Resources in 2009 prior to Rum Jungle Resources? take-over of the title. APAC0037 went to 59 m and intersected a maximum of only 1.56% P2O5. The second hole, APAC085 was drilled in October 2010 by Rum Jungle Resources using a combination of RAB and aircore. It went to 67 m and intersected a maximum of only 1.38% P2O5. Twenty-three blocks are being relinquished from EL 25185 as they are unlikely to contain economic phosphate.en_US
