HyLogger data includes high resolution drillcore imagery and associated spectral (TSG) data. The data are collected using CSIRO's HyLogger™ system and are being used to build the National Virtual Core Library (NVCL), an Australia wide virtual drillcore database accessed via the AuGIN Geoscience Portal.
NTGS HyLogger Data Packages (HDP####) include an explanatory note (pdf), high resolution core imagery and a dataset that can be viewed using The Spectral Geologist (TSG) free viewer. The note includes a brief explanation of TSG software and data, geological interpretation and mineral matches to the spectral response. The imagery and TSG data can be requested from the InfoCentre.
