Abstract: | EL 28429 lies 200 km north-east of Alice Springs. Historic drilling to date has only outlined a few anomalous intercepts near Bruce's Au-Cu prospect within EL 28429. There has been no economic mineralisation found to date. A literature review of the area failed to shed any new potential on the tenement. During the 4 year reporting period, several tasks were undertaken and included - soil sampling, rock chip sampling, airborne magnetic and radiometric data acquisition and interpretation. Several field trips were conducted to inspect the geology. Recent ASTER and magnetic interpretations indicate some potential for repeat structures of the quartz vein at Bruce's prospect. The area remains under explored and still prospective. However due to financial issues and difficult markets, a decision was made to partially, then ultimately surrender the tenement. |
