L 28156 is primarily targeting the northern extension of a putative IOCG terrain. During year two, conceptual targeting, geophysical interpretation and remote sensing studies were undertaken. Several sampling trips were made, including one by helicopter to the more inaccessible parts of the EL. Copper minerals were identified in outcrop at several locations. In all, fifty rock chip surface samples were collected and analysed at AMDEL using the ARM10 technique. Rock chip assays of samples taken in November 2012 returned the following encouraging copper results: Sample 6944 - 2.39 percent Cu, 2.1 grams per tonne Ag and elevated Sn; Sample 6949 - 1.22 percent Cu and 0.7 grams per tonne Ag; Sample 4721 - 0.75 percent Cu and 26 ppb Au; Sample 4722 - 0.78 percent Cu, 1.6 grams per tonne Ag and elevated Ni. These are significantly higher than recorded by previous explorers. Two areas of anomalous copper coincide with significant structural targets identified by consultant geophysicists.en_US
