dc.description.abstractDue to the uncertainty caused by the attempted takeover bid by Delta and the subsequent successful takeover by AngloGold in late 1999, Acacia was forced to keep exploration expenditure to a minimum. Following the AngloGold takeover exploration efforts were hampered by an extended wet season limiting access to the tenement until late May. This large reduction in the available field season led to the prioritisation of all work intended for this reporting period. As a result, the planned four RC hole program within the Elizabeth Group of tenements has yet to be completed.en_US
