Abstract: Work for the current reporting period included the completion of LBD 3 (drilling, logging, sampling and interpretation) and ground geophysical surveys (both gravity and magnetic). Briefly, LBD 3 intersected 341m of Limbunya Group (an unmineralised shallow marine fine grained shelf sediments) before passing through an unconformity at 341m into a mixed sequence of metamorphosed undifferentiated volcanics and black shales of the Inverway Metamorphics. The sequence from 364-439m is interpreted as a significant chlorite-quartzcarbonate-hematite hydrothermal alteration zone within a major shear zone with associated pyrite and minor chalcopyrite. LBD 3 assay results show potential for gold and copper mineralisation and some alternative minerals as well. The completion of ground magnetic and gravity surveys will enable better defining of the shape and size of the target and accurate hole design for LBD 4.
