dc.description.abstractThe report summarises exploration activities within the exploration licences from the Brocks Junction Group. Previous work identified a number of gold anomalies throughout the Brock Junction group. Work completed during the reporting period included gridding, soil and stream sediment sampling. Four-line km of gridding has been emplaced on the Brocks Creek at Highway area. At Thorium 72 soil samples were taken on two lines in the south of the tenement testing the southern extension of the Howley Anticline. Twenty stream sediments samples were taken within the tenement and nine rock chip samples were taken from the northeast part of the tenement. The peak value returned from soil sampling was 135 ppb Au (along the western margin of the tenement), from stream sediment sampling was 4.0 ppb Au and the peak value from rock chip sampling was 10 ppb Au and 175 ppm As. At Bligh soil sampling results were in majority less then 5 ppb Au with the peak value 161 ppb Au.en_US
