Title: | MLC 705 Apollo 1 First annual report 6 August 1999 to 5 August 2000 |
Title Holder / Company: | Giants Reef Exploration |
Report id: | CR2000-0359 |
Tenure: | MLC705 |
Year: | 2000 |
Author: | Simpson, PG Russell, SC |
Abstract: | The report details work undertaken during the first year of tenure including magnetic modeling at Thrace, Macedon and Olympus prospects and rock chip sampling and continuation of feasibility studies at Edna Beryl, and gridding and drill site preparation at Milligal. The Thrace magnetic anomaly is considered as high priority target for RC and diamond drilling. The Macedon magnetic anomaly is regarded as a typical Tennant Creek style gold-copper target. Six reconnaissance rock chip samples collected from an area of quartz outcrop, 300m east of the Edna Beryl mine workings returned disappointing results. At Milligal drilling is planned along the 120m-strike length of the poorly exposed outcrops. |
