Final Report EL 8698 Abner Range 9 January 1995 to 10 September 1999

Abstract

Twenty-nine targets were generated from GEOTEM survey and were on ground investigated. No targets were recommended for drilling. Follow-up sampling was undertaken in an area where diamonds and indicator minerals have previously been reported from drainage in the southern part of exploration licence. Further positive samples were reported but with insufficient indicator counts to enable delineation using indicator sampling. No further targets were selected from the data. The source of unexplained diamonds has yet to be found on the Abner Range.
