Annual report for MCCs 759, 790-792 for the period 2 August 1997 to 25 March 1999 Tennant Creet District, Northern Territory Smelter, Nirvana and Marsanne Prospects, Camelot Central, Joint Venture 2, White Devil Reporting Group

Abstract

A data review was completed on the claims and included database compilation. A helimag survey was completed at 50m line spacing of the claims. Within MCC759 seven RC holes were completed at the Smelter. Explorer 93 prospect, with some of the holes intersecting magnesite/hematite and chlorite alteration and some anomalies i.e. 24m at 0.8 percent Cu and 0.07 g-t Au in SMRC008 and 2m at 0.89 g-t Au and 1.2 percent Cu in SMRC10. Within MCC 791-792, three RC holes were completed within two discrete bullseye magnetic anomalies. Two holes intersected some low grade mineralisation within chlorite ironstones and include 9m at 0.24 percent Cu and 9m at 0.25 percent Cu. The small size of the ironstones has downgraded the area.
