Abstract

Most of the effort was made drilling the Callie Deposit to extend the continuation of the mineralisation. On section 9600E (3) three core holes were drilled to test the mineralised core in the Lower Blake Beds below the Callie Wilson Shoot, although mineralisation was intersected ie 40m at 2.63 g-t Au and 32 m at 0.61 g-t Au the tenor of the mineralisation downgraded the economic potential of this zone. One core hole was drilled on section 10 000E and returned 9.5 m at 21.0 g-t Au from 610 m vertical depth on the north limb of the Callie anticline. Four holes were drilled to the west of the Callie pit but the density of quartz remaining in that area was poor. The best result was along section 10 300E where 114.5 m at 5.8 g-t Au was obtained within the Wilson Shoot from 892 m vertical. This intersection has indicated the potential to increase the ore resource at Callie substantially. At Colliwobble Ridge 2 core holes were drilled with the better intersection being 15m at 2.96 g-t Au. Similarly 2 holes were drilled at Sleepy Hollow with low grade mineralisation obtained ie 22m at 1.31 g-t Au. At Southern Comfort 7 shallow RC holes were drilled, of which, 5 holes intersected narrow mineralisation, the better result being 3m at 5.41 g-t Au. At Triumph Hill a single core hole was drilled into an anti-formal fold structure and obtained 8.45 m at 6.05 g-t Au. The resource at Dead Bullock Soak, including Callie to 530m, is 4.16 x 1 million ounces gold; whilst the reserves including Callie to 330m is currently 1.319 x 1 million ounces gold.
