Abstract

Results outstanding from the previous year were received with two samples containing micro diamond, and a further seven samples reporting chromite, also single sample contained a micro diamond and chromite and another pyrope. A detailed aeromagnetic survey was completed in the anomalous areas. Three anomalies were selected for additional ground magnetic surveys. In addition two small EM surveys were completed. Seven loam samples were collected from geophysical targets, one over a magnetic anomaly, the others over conductive units depicted in the EM survey, of these, 5 were positive with micro diamonds, chromite, picro-ilmenite recorded. Further 9 follow up loam samples were taken along a 50m grid near anomalies, 96043-004 and 97107-013. One sample returned a 0.3 carat diamond only. Also four regional samples were taken, results are awaited. 6 RAB holes were drilled into aeromagnetic targets with only carbonate and sandstone sequences were intersected. Sample results are awaited.
