EL 6800 Black Mountain Annual report for exploration year one of second renewal period 29 May 1997 to 28 May 1998

Abstract

All historical data has been allotted and compiled onto a GIS database. Landsat data was acquired and imaged. Soil sampling was conducted on re-established grids to evaluate an airborne magnetic anomaly extensions of the soil anomalism in the Western block and infill sampling of the eastern anomalies. The airborne magnetic anomaly indicated isolated peaks ie 129,145 ppb Au, whilst the extension in the Western block was poor. The infill sampling at the eastern anomaly contained significant correlatable anomalism ie 305,154 ppb Au.
