Abstract

During the reporting year an airborne survey for high-resolution digital and geo-referenced aerial photography was flown. This survey has allowed the more accurate location of previous exploration activities and results, and will assist in the planning of future mapping, sampling and drilling. A more detailed assessment of the airborne electromagnetic systems applied to exploration will be carried out to understand their effectiveness for various mineralisation geometries possible for the region. Further analysis of the existing stream sediment results from the tenement will be undertaken, followed by ground mapping for unit verification and rock-chip sampling of prospective horizons. The stratigraphy of the region is not well understood, and stratigraphic drilling at an early stage would be highly desirable to more clearly define the prospectivity of the Combined Reporting Area.
