L 1060 work continued within tenement to define the mineralisation previously obtained at the Castrel-Saracen and Largo areas. Within the Castrel prospect an extension to the mineralisation Dunluce-Blarney was attempted with limited success as the RAB drilling did not always reach the planned target depth. RC holes were drilled and some economic mineralisation obtained a single core hole drilled at Blarney intersecting 13m at 1.0g-t Au. The Largo east prospect was tested with LAG sampling returning interesting results that suggest a continuation of the anomaly at Largo west. At the Saracen prospect minor vacuum drilling was completed with low results. EL 2290 - Continuation of regional evaluation by LAG and composite rock chip sampling, and vacuum drilling. Results were not encouraging. EL 2366 - A comprehensive reconnaissance program was continued and consisted of LAG and composite rock chip sampling with some elevated results obtained in the Torpedo prospect area. EL 2367 - Reconnaissance work consisting of LAG and composite rock chip sampling over most of the tenement. Not all results are to hand nor assessed, but some areas of anomalism do exist with Au to 170ppb with associated arsenic Anomalism. EL 2369 - Exploration within the tenement focussed on prospect evaluation. At East Ptilotes the eastern extension was probed by 27 RAB holes but was unsuccessful, whilst 20 RC holes were drilled in the known mineralisation with encouraging results ie 15m at 1.5g-t Au, 17m at1.3g-t Au, 39m at 1.1g-t Au and 35m at 1.5g-t Au. The Ptilotus South, Target 6 and Vioitar prospects were evaluated by different methods, some of which include, ground magnetic survey, RAB drilling, vacuum drilling; Lag sampling and geochemical orientation surveys. No significant additional gold anomalism was indicated. EL 2370 - Additional work continued on previously located anomalies. At Colconda a systematic surface evaluation was done and comprised of ground magnetics, detailed airborne magnetics, LAG, soil and composite rock chip sampling and RAB drilling, a localised anomaly was indicated and RAB drilled with low order but encouraging results ie 12m at 608ppb and 18m at 314ppb and 18m at 2570ppb Au. The Karnak prospect which is covered by Antrim Plateau Volcanics was evaluated by ground magnetics, aeromagnetics, MMI and soil sampling and RAB drilling with negative results. Similarly the Redeye East prospect was further evaluated with poor results returned. The Titania prospect area, which includes the Oberon deposit, was further evaluated. Additional RC and diamond drilling has increased the Oberon inferred resource to 4.78 million tonnes at 2.4g-t Au. Additional RC drilling at Oberon East intersected significant intercepts ie 16m at 3.5g-tAu, whilst at Lamague some narrow high-grade intersections were made. EL 2371 - Reconnaissance RC drilling was completed with negative results. EL 2372 - The DBS lineament anomaly was further evaluated with a ground magnetic survey, rock chip sampling and RAB drilling. The RAB results indicate a Bedrock anomaly over an area of 1.5 km x 0.5 km. Additional work completed at the Sheared Granite anomaly showed negative results. EL 4529 - Surficial LAG sampling was completed by a broad grid system with local Anomalies further evaluated by infill sampling which negated the original results. EL 6759 - Three RAB traverses were conducted with negative results. The Largo Anomaly was evaluated by additional LAG sampling with poor gold results but it does have elevated arsenic values suggesting the continuation of the Largo West mineralisation. EL 6859 - Reconnaissance evaluation was continued with LAG, rock chip sampling, vacuum and RAB drilling, some encouraging results were obtained. Additional work at the Casa prospect was completed with poor discontinuous results obtained. The Twin Bonanza prospect was further evaluated by a significant program including ground magnetics and gravity surveys, vacuum, RAB, RC and diamond drilling. The RC with diamond tails intersected significant mineralisation. It is also apparent that a different supergene regime exists in the area and that results from previous RAB holes may not be representative of mineralisation present at depth. The zone of mineralisation intersected is named Buccaneer and indications are that a strike length of 450m is present with mineralisation over a width of 250m suggested. This zone has intersected a number at probably sub parallel mineralised systems with some localised high grade material. Intercepts include 31m at 1.28g-t Au, 35m at 1.7g-t Au, 36m at 1.7g-t Au, 5m at 8.3g-t Au. EL 7121 - Reconnaissance evaluation continued with LAG sampling and RAB/Vacuum drilling. All results obtained were low. EL 7122 - Further reconnaissance work was conducted in the NW portion of the tenement with low results obtained. In the Area 20 area a gold anomaly was determined extending for 3.5 x 1.5 km. Similarly at Porter a broad 800m anomaly has been defined.en_US
