Abstract: | Two geophysical surveys were flown. Those areas covering Kombolgie Sandstone and the Black Rock Prospect were incorporated in a heliborne DIGHEM-magnetic-spectrometric survey totalling 1789 line km, with 150m, E-W orientated lines and 60m terrain clearance. The remainder of the licence was covered by a fixed wing magnetic-spetrometric-VLF survey. The fixed wing survey totalled 4004 line km and lines were spaced at 200m and a terrain clearance of 80m. A number of uranium anomalies were identified within units of the Nanambuh Complex. Pisolith sampling from 3 areas of uranium channel anomalism showed strong enrichment in uranium. Some material showing alteration was dated to determine the date of alteration. Alteration dated at 1711 +/-14Ma. This date overlaps with the intrusion of the Oenpelli Dolerite. |
