dc.description.abstract | A total of 1104 soil samples were collected and analysed for gold (ppb results) and arsenic (ppm results) by fire assay and atomic absorption spectrometry respectively. Contoured values displayed a geld-in-soil anomaly peaking at 788.5ppb. The main gold anomalous zone (+20ppb contour) was found to widen and extend beyond the grid, to the north. No topographically-controlled dispersion of gold was apparent and as such, the integrity of the main anomaly appears to be sound. Contoured arsenic values show a large +10ppm anomaly which, though vaguely coincident with the gold anomaly, does not appear to be coincident with geological or topographic controls and is therefore considered to be insignificant. Rock chip values were constantly low. | en_US |
