Year 1 Annual report EL 28308 Ooratippra Project for the reporting period 8 April 2011 to 7 April 2012

Abstract

Since grant of this licence on-ground exploration has not been able commence due to native title agreement and site clearance delays. The Native Title agreement with the CLC was signed on the 24 April 2012 while site clearances for the proposed 2012 exploration programme are still awaiting agreement. A 1km space gravity survey over the whole of EL 28308 has been designed and quoted on by Atlas Geophysics. This survey is planned to commence on receipt of a site clearance and will bring the geophysics of the tenement up to the same status as the rest of the Ooratippra. During year 1 an exploration assessment for the whole project was completed by the Author, a consultant exploration geologist. This review highlighted the high mineral potential of the tenement including IOCG deposits, diamonds and phosphate. Geophysical and airborne imagery interpretation by CKA identified 3 diamond exploration targets.
