dc.description.abstractA reconnaissance of the Koolendong Valley south of the Fitzmaurice River examined three of the four low rises in the valley floor between the outcropping Meeway Volcanics and the Fitzmaurice River which are shown as Noltenius Formation on the PORT KEATS 1:250,000 geological map (SD52-11 ). All were found to be formed of sandstone of the Moyle River Formation Sandstone with no sign of veining or significant alteration.en_US
