dc.description.abstractDuring the period 9 January 1995 to 8 January 1996, Ashton Mining Limited, on behalf of the Australian Diamond Exploration Joint Venture (ADE JV), carried out an exploration programme over EL 8698. In the first year of tenure, Ashton Mining undertook an aerial photography survey. A total of three lines were flown over the licence area. All results have been returned and are currently being studied. A field follow-up of EM targets using EM-34 and Max-Min systems was undertaken. A total of twenty-nine targets were delineated. No targets have yet been selected for drill testing.en_US
