EL 24471 Explorer Project Annual report for the period 16 August 2010 to 15 August 2011

Abstract

Work during the current period has been badly affected by wet weather, however, an EM survey was completed in May 2011 as part of a larger survey including adjacent leases. Approximately 137 line km were on EL 24471. Interpretation of the data is yet to be complete. A gravity survey planned for early in 2011 was continually delayed, but eventually commenced in July 2011 with 1845 stations surveyed in three prospects areas (T6, BIF Hill and Explorer 302). The final data is undergoing data processing, but the preliminary data has highlighted the potential of the BIF Hill prospect area for Tennant Creek- style ironstone hosted gold mineralisation.
