Exploration included two wide spaced systematic surface sampling programs (80 samples by Newmont, 40 samples by ABM), a helicopter supported ground gravity survey, reconnaissance RAB drilling along a track (three holes for 22 m), regolith mapping, an aeromagnetic survey and the interpretation of the data into a regional geology map and a second project wide reprocessing of comprehensive aeromagnetic data and its integration into a compilation of a basement geology map. The best surface sample gold assay returned was 0.00164 ppm Au from soil sample 3134561. All drill hole gold assays returned less than 1ppb from all three holes. In 2014 the review of data over EL 23885, in particular the magnetic data, did not show any immediate drill targets and did not indicate any significant features warranting follow up work. In addition, the geochemical data is poor. These results led to a 9.5 percent reduction of the tenement area.en_US
