The Ammaroo Phosphate Project is located 240 km southeast of Tennant Creek. The project area contains the 40 km long, billion-tonne Ammaroo Phosphate Deposit which is currently Australia's largest JORC rock phosphate resource, the satellite Ammaroo South resource, the Rockhole prospect, and, as yet untested, greenfields potential in the east. The overall Ammaroo Phosphate Project prefeasibility has been announced. EL 29773, in the central northwestern part of the project area, was part of an agreement with the CLC. The 2014 site clearances by the CLC and Traditional Owners identified a very large culturally significant zone of 190 km2 which spans two ELs and sterilised about two-thirds of EL 29773. Consequently, Rum Jungle Resources was only able to drill test the northern-most part of EL 29773 with two air core holes, APAC182 and 183 for 33 m and 45 m respectively. This was done as part of a larger program of reconnaissance phosphate exploration between the Ammaroo Resource and the railway. All samples were tested for phosphate on the rig using a handheld XRF with no significant phosphate detected. No samples were sent for laboratory assay. EL 29773 and the contiguous ELs have been surrendered in full.en_US
