| Abstract: | The areas selected for relinquishment was made based on the results of the 2012 magnetic fraction soil sampling program and the costs associated with retaining licenses. The sampling showed that the distribution of the heavy mineral was patchy with a few higher values amongst barren areas. The notes collected at the time of the sampling indicated that the sand cover was mostly thin with some outcrops of bed rock and calcrete. |
