Abstract

Work during year 1 focused on gathering all available open-file information of historic exploration in the area. A total of 78 company reports were reviewed for content relevant to the lease area and a total of 20 reports were confirmed to contain relevant information. Systematic digitising of the data has been ongoing. Geophysical data from the NTGS and company reports was reviewed but found to be of limited use except at a regional scale. Access to the area was attempted during the dry-season from the eastern side and from the south-west corner, neither route proving accessible using conventional 4wd light vehicle. ATV's will be required.
