| Abstract: | Work completed during this anniversary period included the completion of a preliminary environmental report, metallurgical testwork and the drilling of 9 production and observation bores. A submission to construct a flotation mill for treatment of copper sulphide ore liberated from an 80 m open cut at Sandy Flat was completed. A soil gas survey was undertaken, which was successful over Sandy Flat, but it was impractical at Bluff. Final metallurgical test work indicated that a blend of oxide transitional and sulphide ore would produce satisfactory recoveries into acceptable grade concentrates. Site works commenced in September 1993. |
