dc.description.abstractIn the year ending 27 April 1994, 28 stream sediment, 170 soil and 6 rock chip samples were collected. 9 of the stream sediment samples returned values greater than 2ppb with a maximum value of 6.8ppb Au. Soil sampling returned 12 values greater than 9.5ppb Au (max value 96ppb Au). As the area is relatively flat and associated with the Howley Creek Floodplain the significance of these values is yet to be determined.en_US
