| Abstract: | EL 28116 is being explored for phosphate by Rum Jungle Resources Ltd. During the first year of tenure, 14 RAB holes were drilled for 591 metres. Drilling was unsuccessful with most holes drilling into loose sands and gravel of palaeochannels and failing to reach the prospective stratigraphy. Drill holes were generally not pushed further than 40 m depth due to economic viability even if phosphate was intersected. |
