Abstract: | The ore zones at Rustlers Roost lie in a turbidite sequence of the Mount Bonnie Formation, characterised by alternating units of predominantly greywacke (upward fining) and mudstones (with chert). At Dolly Pot, the ore zone is stratiform, while at Sweat Ridge and Beef Bucket the mineralisation is dominantly stratiform with a significant contribution form sub-horizontal quartz veins. Mineralisation at Backhoe is due to sub-horizontal quartz veins with less contribution from chert and mudstone. These zones are not closed off along strike. |
