Report id: | CR1991-0639 |
Tenure: | ERL116 |
Year: | 1992 |
Author: | Richards, DNG |
Abstract: | Work undertaken by RGC included detailed geological mapping, excavating 1096m of trenches (Trenches L-U) and 53 RC Percussion drill holes totalling 3580m. This work has shown the Mount Porter Anticline to be moderately tight with a N-NNW striking axis with an overall north plunge. Broadly mineralization is associated with the hinge zone of the anticline and the western limb. The more consistent mineralization is associated with zones of relatively consistent mineralization. The largest is the central zone, with a resource approach 0.5 million tonnes at almost 3g-t A Au. |
