ERL 88 Mt Shoobridge Annual report year 4 19 September 1992 to 18 September 1993

Abstract

Exploration activities during 1992-1993 consisted of compilation of all previous exploration data, ground magnetics, RC drilling and vacuum and aircore drilling. An RC programme totalling 50 holes for 1509m tested Renison soil geochemical anomalies and extensions to previously located mineralisation with peak values of 4m at 2.91 g-t and 2m at 1.33 g-t Au. Vacuum - aircore drilling tested beneath transported cover along the northern extension of the Mount Shoobridge structure. Maximum values of 1280 ppb and 630 ppb Au were received. A short RC programme (6 holes for 227m) to test the aircore anomalies returned peak values of 4m at 4. 72 g-t Au and 3m at 4.90 g-t Au.
