Title: Annual report for MLS 153 Tanami Gold Mine
Title Holder / Company: Zapopan
Report id: CR1993-0212
Tenure: MLS153
Year: 1993
Author: Poxon, R
Abstract: Drilling at the Southern Prospect defined low grade gold mineralisation below the current pit floor. Several sub parallel easterly dipping lodes were delineated, extending to at least 90m depth. A resource estimate for Southern is calculated at 346000t at 1.9 g-t Au. Work at the Miracle Prospect defined a resource of some 454000t at 1.7 g-t Au. Hurricane South is a strike extension to the Hurricane Repulse Pit. Lodes are generally narrow and low grade and an estimate of 113000t at 2.2 g-t Au was determined. RAB drilling in the south of the lease returned a number of highly anomalous gold values at a shallow depth.
