Title: EL 26891 Ranken Phosphate Project Annual exploration report for period ending 3 April 2013
Title Holder / Company: Blackwood Corporation
Report id: CR2013-0356
Tenure: EL26891
Year: 2013
Abstract: EL 26891 is south-east of the tenure containing the Arruwurra and Wonarah phosphate deposits. Mineralisation appears to be controlled by paleo-highs as noted in the nearby outcrops of Wonarah and Arruwarra deposits. Year one exploration on EL 26891 has primarily been desktop studies and research with the aim of understanding the regional geological setting and identifying high priority drilling targets of similar potential as the adjacent deposits. Historical evidence alone points to a reasonable chance of phosphate mineralisation in EL 26891, known deposits - in particular the Wonarah deposit of 880Mt, (less than 40km away), and the Arruwurra Deposit (less than 20km away) of 135Mt has been mapped as open to the south in two locations relevant to EL 26891. These two locations will be the initial focus of an RC drill traverses.
