EL 23459 Helen Springs - Bootu Creek Project fifth annual exploration report 4 March 2007 to 3 March 2008

Abstract

EL 23459 has several occurrences of manganese mineralisation within its boundaries discovered during intensive base metal mineralisation during the 1980's. Previous exploration on EL 23459 has expanded the work done in the 1980's with a modest drilling program and ground em surveys conducted by the previous owner, Neil Scriven. The exploration program for year 5 included a review of satellite imagery, an extensive helicopter-borne SkyTEM survey, excavation and sampling of a costean and clearing of selected drill sections. A clearance and subsequent AAPA authorisation certificate covering the areas prospective for manganese was issued in 2006. EL 23459 was purchased from the original owner Neil Scriven in late 2007 with title eventually being transferred to OM Manganese Limited (OMM) in March 2008. The planned exploration by OMM for 2008 includes RC drilling of selected targets.
