Fourth and final annual report for EL 27420 for the period 15 April 2010 to 14 April 2014

Abstract

Exploration activities conducted by Proto Resources and Investments Ltd (Proto) and their JV partners are based on the possibility of the Antrim Plateau Volcanics (as part of the Kalkarindji Volcanic Group) hosting economic 'Norilsk-style' Ni-Cu-PGE mineralisation. Work during the tenure has included: Compilation of Geophysical Data in the region; Rock chip reconnaissance of the region; Gravity Survey across the Blackfellow fault; and Commencement of a partly funded Research project headed by Dr Mike Widdowson of the Open University (UK) and Dr David Murphy of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) including field visits, data analysis and planning. Unfortunately during the fourth year of tenure a decision was made to surrender EL 27420 to reduce holdings in the Northern Territory to concentrate funding in other areas of the company.
