Abstract: The Amadeus West Project is located in an under explored region to the west of Lake Amadeus in the Amadeus Basin. Previous exploration targets have included phosphate and evaporites, uranium, sulphur, copper and diamonds. All exploration in the area has been short lived with few available reports and data. There are no delineated deposits of any kind in the area of Amadeus West Project however there are prospects for sandstone hosted uranium deposits such as roll front and fault hosted deposits and heavy mineral sands. There is also a possibility of associated copper mineralisation within the fault hosted uranium deposits. Furthermore, evaporites and phosphate are potential targets in areas of ephemeral drainage within the title area. No field work has been completed on Amadeus West Project. Work associated with this tenement has been focused on literature searches and map making which is informing our fieldwork plan. There are few areas of outcrop due to the amount of sand dune cover. There is substantial potential for uranium and evaporite mineral deposits within the area of Amadeus West Project. Radiometric anomalies, halotectonics and possible structures within the title area require further investigation.
