L 24606 is held for uranium exploration. On-ground work is pending an Authority Certificate from the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority. Work to date has focused on the adjoining title, EL 24246, where over $770,000 was spent during 2006. EL 24606 straddles the north flowing drainage entering Lake Lewis and has potential for calcrete, sandstone and 'chemical delta' traps for groundwater-borne uranium. These styles of mineralisation have already been outlined in the south-flowing drainage entering the north side of Lake Lewis.en_US
